Whilst we take enrolments all year long, please note Sarina State School has an
Enrolment Management Process that ensures that students living in the Sarina area are guaranteed places at the school before those who live outside of the catchment. This is due to both the popularity of the school and the growing enrolment numbers.
If you live in Armstrong's Beach, Freshwater Point or Sarina township, this generally covers you automatically, but our office staff are more than happy to help you if you would like to check your address to see if you are in the schools catchment zone. To enrol you will need at least 2 (two) valid forms of address ID and at least one of these will need to be a lease, rental slip signed property sale or rates notice in the name of one or both enrolling parents.
For students living outside of the catchment area you can apply to the principal for consideration of enrolment. The criteria for consideration as a part of our enrolment management policy are:
- Live in catchment
- Has a sibling currently attending
- Is in foster care
- Is the child of a staff member
Please
contact the office to book an enrolment interview. Front office staff will be able to assist you with an enrolment package. This package can be collected from the office or posted to you. Please call the school to arrange your preferred option.
